Yay – I have finally finished my “Nanna-Knee-Rug”!
Apart from a number of loose threads to sew in, I can now just enjoy snuggling under it. Right now, for instance, its across my knee keeping Pip warm!! Opportunistic Cats! 🙂
Today was full of domestic mundane-ness, slow cooked dinners and weather that changed every 20 minutes!
So totally nothing exciting from me today, but a hello and hope you are all having a marvelous mid-week day!
Cheers!
Lisa, as one who grew up in Ohio, your rug, or as it is called state-side: lap blanket looks sure looks like you are supporting Ohio State. [The colors and O-shape.] This is coming from someone who roots for Ohio University [green and white]. Does look nice and cozy. What kind of yarn did you use?
Elizabeth in Upstate NY.
lol – I strolled past google to see!! Yup!
I only used acrylic – nothing special. But I liked the combination of colours.
I love using real home spun wool for some projects – obviously a lot more pricey (and rightly so) so I use that for special stuff, presents mostly. Altho I did make myself a beanie out of some very nice merino and its so warm!
Most of my days are mundane! Who wants to read about doing laundry, preparing meals or cleaning house?
I like to think all of these chores are appreciated by my husband….but who knows? ?
🙂 Mostly I read ‘stuff’ to escape the laundry, meals and house cleaning!!
Oh – and folding the laundry. I have a problem with folding laundry! Sigh!
I am sure our significant others totally appreciate the effort 😀
